We are the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America
We believe that working people should run both the economy and society democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. Our primary task as DSA is to organize the working class, make more socialists, and to lay the foundation for an independent mass party capable of taking state power and transforming our society.

DSA is the largest socialist organization in the United States. As an entirely volunteer-run, member-driven organization, Chicago DSA runs campaigns to empower the working class, organizes to build rank-and-file labor power, and provides political education.
